THE SIMPLE NEWSLETTER - ISSUE # 038

Faith alone isn’t enough. Real growth comes when belief is backed by action, guided by purpose, and rooted in a clear why. In this issue, I remind us that the work itself is the true goal.

ADAM'S THOUGHTS:

Faith is great—but in what, and why?

Too often, people surrender to faith believing that means everything will simply work out because they believe.

But here’s the thing about belief: it has to be backed by behavior. You can’t just sit idly by, waiting for magic to happen.

Because magic requires a magician.

And a magician requires knowledge.

And knowledge requires engagement.

Without all of that, it’s just people and props.

ADAM'S LESSON:

Faith backed by massive action is unstoppable.

And when you layer in a purpose—your why—that action now has direction.

It’s the difference between a flashlight and a laser: the focused attention of action pointed toward a clear purpose, and the trust—yes, the faith—in the outcome.

One of my favorite sayings is: “The work is the goal.”

You don’t have faith to get an outcome.

You have faith in why you are putting in the effort.

You have faith that you are meant to be the one to commit.

You have faith that you are doing this for the right reasons.

The outcome? That’s just a byproduct. And while it’s glorious for a moment, it’s the massive action—backed by faith, purpose, and a strong why—that allows you to keep serving.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

This isn’t mutually exclusive.

It’s true for your business and your life—because how we do one thing is usually how we do everything.
