Adam’s Thoughts

Game on.

Game fu$king on.

Did you feel it this week?

There’s something about the week after Labor Day that makes everything feel more serious.

The kids are back in school.

Vacation season is over.

And now we’ve got this stretch from here until the holidays to absolutely go after it.

This is the time to follow through on everything we’ve built so far this year.

Capitalize on the pipeline.

Utilize the incredible people we’ve brought into the business.

Lean into the relationships we’ve built.

Turn opportunity into actual results.

This is focus time.

It’s game day.

That’s what this week feels like to me.

Adam’s Lessons

In a lot of the businesses I’ve been involved with, the fourth quarter really mattered.

Hitting key metrics could mean the difference between success and failure.

Between getting financing and taking on debt.

Between making the year and missing it.

That pressure doesn’t really drive me the same way anymore.

What drives me now is something different.

I’ve busted my ass for the last eight months.

I’ve learned.

I’ve built.

I’ve tested.

I’ve brought people in.

I’ve developed relationships.

And now I get to see what all that work was actually worth.

That’s the exciting part.

Because the same is true for you.

There’s so much you’ve already done this year to prepare for this moment.

And now you get to find out.

How valuable was that work?

How much did you really build?

How far can you actually go?

Practice is over.

This is the testing ground.

This is when you put it all on the line and see what you’re made of.

And the good news?

You’re more prepared than you were last year.

You’re more experienced.

More connected.

More skilled.

More armed.

So yeah.

It’s game time.

So here’s my question for you this week:

What have you spent the last eight months building that you’re finally ready to put to the test?

Reply and tell me. While I can’t respond to every message, Tom and I read every reply, and we genuinely appreciate hearing from you.

That’s all for this week.

See you next Saturday.
