Adam’s Thoughts

There are less than 100 days left.

That was the thought that hit me as I was flying home this week.

It was early. Sunrise coming up. I’d left around 5 a.m., driving past the palm trees, knowing that when I landed back in New York, we were officially in that final stretch.

Less than 100 days.

This is it, man.

To me, this is one of the most fun parts of being a business owner.

Closing things out.

Seeing what all the work from the year actually produced.

If you’ve never looked at it that way, this time of year can feel stressful.

But for a lot of us, especially the people sitting around those CEO Mastermind dinner tables with us... this feels more like the Super Bowl.

Because now it’s all signal.

No more noise.

When you lead anything, you carry a lot on your shoulders.

But eventually, if you’ve built it well enough, if you’ve put the right people in place, if you’ve done the work…

You get to a point where you trust it.

You’re confident in it.

And now you get to watch what happens.

In the final chapter of our book, The Atomic Game Changer, we called this Aggressive Patience.

Be patient about the result.

But be aggressive about making sure the result has everything it needs to happen.

That’s what these last 100 days are about.

Adam’s Lessons

This is all mindset.

Technically, it’s just another day.

Who cares that there are less than 100 days left?

But how you show up mentally changes everything.

Because your beliefs dictate your behaviors.

If you show up thinking:

“It’s just another day…”

You’ll probably go through the motions.

But if you look at the calendar and say:

“Holy shit. We’ve got less than 100 days. Here we go.”

That’s different.

Not anxiety.

Excitement.

Now you get to see what you’re made of.

What your team is made of.

What the business you’ve spent all year building is actually capable of doing.

So take a minute and look at the calendar.

Really look at it.

And realize:

This is what we’ve been waiting for.

Because if you can put yourself in that state, you’re going to show up differently Monday morning.

At this point, nobody is coming to pump you up.

You’re the leader.

You bring the energy.

You bring the excitement.

You bring the vibe that everyone else will carry through the rest of the year.

So shut out the noise.

Tune into the signal.

Lace up the boots.

And let’s fucking go.
