Adam’s Thoughts

I have a vacation protocol.

Every 90 days, I require people to detach.

But the most important part… isn’t the vacation.

It’s how you return.

Too many people come back and immediately jump into work.

They say they need to “catch up.”

Everyone’s catching up.

But the way I return… I never have to.

Here’s how it works:

Day 1 back — personal day.

A vacation from your vacation.

You unpack.

Do laundry.

Get groceries.

Handle the little things we ignore.

Day 2 back — work, but alone.

No meetings.

No chaos.

No reacting.

You assess.

You go through emails and delegate.

You decide what actually matters.

You schedule what needs to get done.

You don’t jump back in.

You choose how to re-enter.

This protocol has changed my life.

Because the real purpose of the vacation…

is to give the muse a chance to speak.

Adam’s Lessons

And when the muse spoke to me this time…

It said something simple.

Pick the path.

The direction you’re going matters far more than how fast you move.

Most people don’t pick a direction.

They just start walking.

They come back from vacation and immediately go back into motion.

But motion without direction?

That’s just noise again.

This next quarter, I’m focusing on something different.

Before I move fast…

Before I apply pressure…

Before I work hard…

I’m making sure I’ve chosen the right path.

Because I’ve said it before:

Freedom is never having to be in a rush.

But what I’ve learned recently is this:

Happiness is when nothing is missing.

And I want both.

Not just on vacation.

Not just on days off.

But in the work itself.

Picking the path is everything.

But there’s a truth inside that too:

If you never start walking…

you’ll never know if it was the right one.

So here’s my question for you this week:

Are you moving fast right now… or are you moving in the right direction?

Reply and tell me. While I can’t respond to every message, Tom and I read every reply, and we genuinely appreciate hearing from you.

That’s all for this week.

See you next Saturday.

P.S.

If you feel like you’re constantly in motion but still questioning where it’s all going, there’s a reason for that. Click here to find out why so many business owners struggle to choose the right path.
